Playa Ruinas is an exotic beach in the Tulum Archaeological Zone, just beneath a massive display of ancient Mayan architecture. The beach is open from 10 AM, and it's relatively empty until 11 AM. I'd recommend going there as early as possible as it gets overcrowded. Best. It's best to come early (8am�9am) or late (3pm�4pm) to avoid the sun as well as all the day-trippers from Playa del Carmen and Cancun.
