There are 3 really nice pools on the property, but we only went to two of them. The public beach looked okay too. When it comes to long weekend getaways, traveling internationally can seem daunting. The third or fourth will likely make the next day much less pleasant. Unless you have a very limited time at the resort, you should be fine signing up for the activity after you arrive.
